Shampoo Bar- Kalahari Melon

This Shampoo Bar is a great all rounder but is especially good for those whose hair is on the curly, dry and damaged side. Kalahari Melons have earned themselves the title of Wld watermelons- mostly growing in deserts and containing seeds which when pressed, release incredibly nourishing oil. This seed oil is extremely beneficial for your scalp and hair, containing vitamins, antioxidants, and moisturizing deeply without being overly greasy.

 The Kalahari Melon Seed oil make this bar feel like a tropical sensation- its an absolutely beautiful scent, sweet but not too sweet, it certainly packs a punch and is a very popular fragrance in our home. In fact- the bathroom is filled with beautiful fresh, tropical, and clean vibes!

From the very start of our Green & Me adventure, we have been on a mission to discover the secret to Shampoo Bars that tick all the boxes- we had to try quite a large number- some were too small, some too waxy, some didn't clean our hair, some crumbled, some even went mouldy! We were at a loss, then we discovered this incredible range and we are delighted to now have our very own range- ticking every box!

These bars are an amazing natural and eco friendly alternative to approximately 3-4 bottles of shampoo. The Kalahari Melon bar has added rapeseed oil and Jojoba to add extra moisturiser, clay to detoxify and Abyssinian Oil is also added for even more moisturising benefits and extra vitamins.

(Abyssinian oil comes from the seed of a tiny white flower but is loaded with beneficial properties for healthy hair. It has Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, as well as Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C and E.) 

How To use- wet hair and then wet the shampoo bar, then simply rub onto the hair- concentrating on the scalp, the running down the hair shaft a little. Rinse and leave to dry on a soap dish or sisal bag.(allowing the bar to dry). Lather and work into the scalp and hair, then rinse! Repeat if needed but only very lightly- the bar will create instant lather on a repeat cleanse.

Packaging: The bars comes in a fine layer of plant waxed paper, in a recycled kraft paper box with a recycled paper sticker. (They can be bought without the box- in a plant wax envelope that is biodegradable, compostable, recyclable, and made 100% from a sustainable forest.)
